Ishita Singh is a 19 year old photographer from India. Photos from her most recent project, The Dreamer, have already been featured on Vogue Italia.
Artist Statement
Music and Art have always been the 2 biggest components of my life. The two beautiful things that make me feel alive.
Those little camera lessons with my grandfather, etched in my heart, have helped me reach where I am today. He bought me my first DSLR 3 years ago, And instantly I fell in love. In love with the magic I could create with the camera. I wanted to capture my thoughts and create the magical world I see in my dreams.
A year ago I started a Self Portrait project where I have attempted to communicate my soul, by putting myself in conceptual photographs, and now the entire project has grown to be very close to my heart.
My camera today, has become my most precious possession, something I cannot live without anymore. I hope this passion keeps growing everyday and people are able to understand ME through my photographs.
