About the Artist

Amalia Chimera (b. 1987)  is the artist name of Amalia Sieber. She grew up in Durham, NC, studied design at Cincinnati and now lives and works in San Francisco.

Artist Statement

I love film, I have rosy cheeks, I wear white dresses, I live in outer space, I live deep in the molten core of the earth, I have walked on the moon, I cannot do the Frug. I am a photographer, designer, animator, all wrapped up in a neat little package of scraps.
