About The Artist
A native of Boise, Idaho, Adrian received his BFA from the Lyme Academy College of Fine Art. This gifted oil painter has already caught the eye of collectors who appreciate his compelling compositions, depth through texture, harmonious color choices and emotional expression free of gimmicky or superfluous narrative. The initial intention of his work is to demand attention of a room. The paintings have an immediacy because of their simplicity. This allows the viewer to interact and become part of the work. Whether it is through the subtle tension of two figures on the canvas, or the dialogue of a single figure with its environment, the paintings create a relationship with the viewer. The painting becomes a proxy for their present condition. This way, the viewer can create specifics from generalities and a continual relationship is formed.
