Artist bio
rui correia, 45, is a tv director in Lisbon, Portugal. He started taking still photographs when he was 7 years old when his father bought him a photographic enlarger! He was addicted and headed straight for an education in all things photographic and audio/visual. rui also took to the advent of digital photography like a duck to water and now concentrates primarily on street photography interchanging between an iPhone and a Canon G9 for inconspicuousness.
When asked for an artist statement, he steered us to a quote by Henri Cartier-Bresson:
They . . . asked me: How do you make your pictures? I was puzzled . . . I said, I don’t know, it’s not important.
