About The Artist
Katerina Gorokhova was born in Moscow, she graduated from the Byam Shaw School of Art at the Central St. Martin’s College of Art and Design, London, Great Britain, earning both Bachelor’s Degree and Postgraduate Diploma of Fine Arts. She exhibited and curated exhibitions in London and Moscow. At the moment she lives and works in Moscow, exhibiting and curating exhibitions at the Russian Academy of Arts, other independent art spaces and galleries. Gorokhova’s graphic work “No reason for reason” has been published in the book “International Contemporary Masters”, volume III (2010), also her work “While In Spain” is published in “Dictionary of Artists” (2011), WWAB, Santa Barbara, USA. In 2011, in a magazine “Russian gallery the 21st century” came out an article ‘Katerina Gorokhova’s “Simple moments”‘, written by an art critic Svetlana Tarkhanova, where she discusses the last series of work. Katerina Gorokhova’s work can be found in collections of Russia and abroad.
