Jef Van den Houte

Artist Statement:

Living in Belgium near the the city of Antwerp, I have been a passionate amateur photographer since the end of the 1970’s. I switched over to digital some 3 years ago. I am an open-minded photographer and can appreciate the more traditional fine art photography as well as modern and more experimental work. Important is that the image has something to tell me. In my own photos I try to translate my personal view on the subject. In that context I regularly use postprocessing (Photoshop) to try to enhance that expression. Some of my favorite topics are urban/architecture and people (1x.com)
