Jangarh Singh Shyam, highly acclaimed Indian artist of the Gond tribe, was born in 1962 the Narmada Valley, Madya Pradesh, India. His work was exhibited in and outside India including at the Centre Pompidou, Paris in 1989. He took his own life in Tokomachi, Japan in 2001. Read More about his life and death here and here.
