About The Artist
Michal Giedrojc, photographer, uses what he sees. His main subject is the human being. He concentrates on characteristic, telling faces. There is no objectivity or attempt to present the real character of the person who stands in front of his camera. He’ll turn beauty into ugliness and ugliness into beauty.
I love these, so moody, the mists, the cloudy skies. Add that extra element: whirling leaves, floating ballons, the birds and in each the receding, disappearing horizon. To me they are about isolation, a small human being in a vast world.
Wonderful visual narratives that would make excellent prompts for poetry writing.
