Craig Hunter Parker
Artist Bio
Born in Cape Town, raised on a farm, Craig Hunter Parker was into ‘make-believe’ from an early age. After studying in high school he took it further with graphic design in college, where, along with photography and design, he also majored in illustration. He joined Ogilvy & Mather as an art director and moved into experiential advertising until making the leap into multimedia and digital video. He now works full-time in visual effects, animation and motion graphics and has directed some television commercials.
In his rare spare time, Craig also works on various personal projects that entail photography and illustration. He is planning to direct, with a fellow colleague, a short film in the near future and is currently working as VFX supervisor on the new South African-directed film, Die Ongelooflike Avonture van Hanna Hoekom (The Unbelievable Adventures of Hanna Why).
